Rama Syahrul

Biography

Rama brings more than two decades of experience across professional services, enterprise technology, digital transformation and organisational change. His career has unfolded in complex, high-pressure environments where outcomes depend as much on understanding people and building trust as on technical capability.

Consulting exposed him to the discipline behind perceiving, influencing and shaping human behaviour. He learned how storytelling, structured communication and thoughtful facilitation can build consensus, navigate difficult conversations and strengthen trust through consistency and empathy.

At Accenture, Rama helped shape, plan and execute large-scale digital transformation programmes. His work extended beyond delivery to executive alignment, business narratives and decision-making across complex stakeholder landscapes.

Later, in a rapidly growing SaaS company, he built and scaled consulting and delivery organisations across Asia Pacific. He managed difficult conversations, de-escalated conflict, rebuilt customer trust and developed coaching frameworks that helped technical consultants become confident trusted advisors.

Rama co-founded Skills Shift because he believes artificial intelligence makes human skills more important, not less. Critical thinking, communication, empathy and influence remain essential to better decisions, stronger relationships and meaningful outcomes.
