Biography
Stefan's work is guided by the belief that sustainable growth starts with people, their skills, agency and ability to adapt. His career reflects a commitment to human-centred development, lifelong learning, inclusion and responsible leadership.
With an academic background in Political and Social Sciences from TU Dresden, Stefan combines insight into social structures and governance with hands-on experience in community-based cultural and youth work.
He is the founder and Chair of Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V., established in Dresden in 2004. He is responsible for its strategic, financial, legal and operational management, supporting creative ambition with sustainable structures and sound governance.
Stefan has led European, national, regional and local projects including training courses, seminars, conferences, cultural programmes and artistic residencies. He also contributes at board level to cultural initiatives and has created public spaces and programmes that connect artists, academics, activists and young people.
As a Skills Shift advisor, Stefan contributes real-world experience in governance, operations, community-based learning and partnership ecosystems, with a strong commitment to responsible and sustainable growth.
